The bride is the central figure in the wedding day, but when it comes to pure cuteness, nothing can outclass the flower girls. These little figures are beloved by all, charming in their fluffy or flowy dresses, with delicate crowns of flowers perched on their heads.

Before you send your little ladies down the aisle strewing petals, don’t you want to nail the perfect hairstyle? Here are six of our favorite ideas.

1. Loose Curls

Thank heavens for little girls, as the saying goes, and nothing screams “little girl” like fluffy curls. Make sure to give a little time between styling and pictures for the curls to relax and loosen. Then flower crown away!

2. Heidi Braids

We don’t really need to explain this, do we? Everyone loves Heidi braids for their adorable alpine look. As long as the little one has hair at least 10 inches long, the effect will work. Small, delicate flowers behind one ear complete the look.

3. Low Crown of Braids

Give “The Heidi” an update by roping the braids low around the nape of the neck rather than pulling them over the top. This provides plenty of canvas above the braids, into which to tuck baby roses and baby’s breath.

4. Tousled Bun

Hey, the messy bun fits all ages! Top it all with a metallic headband for extra charm.

5. Twisted Back Bun

Take strands of hair, smooth them and twist them back toward the crown of the head. For a simple look, you can take one thick lock from each side, or for a more complicated effect, lots of little strands. Then make a bun or pony with curls.

6. Fishtail Braid

For the little ones who have lots of locks to work with, a long fishtail braid is always a fun style. It presents lots of opportunities for decoration, from weaving ribbons or tinsel into the hair, to tying with a statement bow, to placing a crown of flowers on the head.

Once you choose the look for your girls, make sure to book an appointment right away. You can either make appointments for the bride, bridesmaid and flower girls at a salon, or speak to your stylist about traveling to the location. Whatever the case, don’t wait to nail down services for the special day!
