Doey Ragbourne tried several booking & business management software platforms but always found they came up short.
For me, [Vagaro] is a system that I know I can scale with. There’s been systems in the past that just didn’t grow with my business. They didn’t protect my business enough or [the software] wasn’t growing with my business. Whereas, with this system, there’s just a lot of room for growth.
Because Vagaro caters to the solopreneur all the way through to enterprise & multi-location businesses, it makes sense that she’s finally found the right software fit. Aside from the scalability, Ragbourne found that the focus was in the right place. Vagaro prioritizes the business owner and frees them up to focus on the clientele, which hasn’t always been the case in her experience with other software.
I couldn’t really customise Booksy very much. [For no-show or cancellation fees,] if someone wanted to argue, I would always have to back down. Whereas now, everything is so automatic, they sign forms, and they can’t turn around and say they didn’t know. I feel like [Booksy] did a lot more for the client than the business.
The Vagaro Team has been super supportive & helped me understand the whole system. It’s been amazing. The people I’ve dealt with have been so personal with my business and getting to know my needs.
